ZABALKETA ASSOCIATION FOR COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT
The Zabalketa Association is a Basque Non-Governmental Development Organisation that was founded in 1991. Its head office in Getxo (Bizkaia).
Our work at Zabalketa is designed to raise awareness on the need for human dignity for everyone and gather all the necessary resources to channel them into projects that favour the rounded development of the most disadvantaged people, mainly in developing countries.
Accordingly, and with a view to implementing the structural changes the world requires, it operates locally by organising awareness and education schemes designed to strengthen the commitment of civil society in the developed nations; and internationally it is involved in cooperation projects in countries in the Americas, Africa and Asia that promote fair and sustainable human development.
