All aboard

In this unit, we are going to learn about the world’s main migratory movements throughout history, as well as the reasons behind them. Secondly, we are going to study some facts and figures about immigration and emigration in the Basque Country. In addition, we will come to realise how enriching it is to go to other countries and meet people from other cultures.

Now that you have got to know these people, let’s all talk about their experiences through the following questions:

1. Why have they gone to live somewhere else?
2. How do they feel about leaving their friends or family and homes?
3. What have they learnt living in other cities?
4. Would they like to return to their places of origin? Why or why not?
