The needs

This unit will teach the meaning of basic needs and also what responsible consumption involves.

• 15 March: World Consumer Right's Day

Ideas for celebrating the day:

• Find out how other cultures understand consumerism: divide the class according to the continents, choose different cultures, investigate them and use murals to show the differences and similarities between them, their curiosities, etc.
• Organise a bazaar for swapping and exchanging products: books and toys.
• Recycling workshops.
• Video – forum: “La huella de Carmela” [Carmela’s footprint]
