A topsy-turvy world
Using various images, we will reflect upon the importance of caring for the environment, which is vital for achieving sustainable development, and upon the consequences of failing to do so.
- 5 June: World Environment Day
Ideas for celebrating this day:
- Collect up all the images, both the negative and the positive ones, and hold an exhibition in the school’s corridors.
- Print advertising or awareness campaigns that draw attention to environmental problems and talk about them.
- Organise a drawing competition referring to the day.
